letter from the desert

It’s like I’d knew you since ever,
As I know mountains made of stone,
Rivers made of cold water,
Earth and lava below my feet,
And the burning stars,
all over,
since ever.

When my soul is lying down beside yours,
seeing you sleeping, feeling your slow deep breath,
the soft movement of your breast
receiving the smell and the warmth of your body,
every piece of you is overwhelming me.

I don’t want to move.
I just need to stay there,
feeling the magic of you,
of being alive there,

out of time.

And when I softly pass my hand in your hairs and slowly wrap my body around yours, removing all the distance for, my skin can talk to yours, and when I join my body with yours, enter in you, then my soul can share your dreams of dawn, of fresh air and swim naked in the early ocean, walk in deep forests, your dreams of storm and fire and of us two, alone in the desert of insanity, loosing ourselfs searching again and again the unnamed door.

And in this desert
I will revive from you,
my river my earth,
and I will consume you,
my earth my burning star
